Logging on to Jupiter

GENERAL INFORMATION:

 

  • Use Chrome or Mozilla as a search engine.
  • If you do not have a temporary password, register first on the Jupiter webpage https://jupitergrades.com/signup/th
  • When you Log-on using the temporary password, It is case sensitive.  You should change your password once you log-on.
  • Your student will have a different password and log-on to see their account.

 

IF YOU ARE A STUDENT:

  • Your name must be in the database for Narbonne.  It is referenced using your LAUSD student ID number.
  • Any of your teachers using Jupiter can give you your temporary password.  You should change your password to something you will remember.
  • If you forget your password, follow the instructions on the log on page https://login.jupitered.com/login/index.php
  • If you were a student at different school using Jupiter, you must change your school to Narbonne to access your grades.

  • Your student's name must be in the database for Narbonne.  It is referenced using the student's LAUSD student ID number.

  • It is important that parents or guardian names are linked to the student's record.  Passwords will not be released unless parent/guardian information corresponds with their student's emergency card.

Frequently Asked Questions about Jupiter Grades

 

What is Jupiter Grades?

Jupiter Grades lets students and parents check their current grades and homework online anytime. Everyone has their own password, so grades are always private.

 

How is Jupiter Grades accessed?

 You can access Jupiter Grades from any computer with internet access: Mac or Windows; Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, or Chrome. The mobile version for iPhone, iPad, Android, and others allows easy access to grades and assignments.

 

How can I get a password for student’s account?

Jupiter Grades issues the temporary passwords for students and parents. Your student’s teacher can print a log-in letter or send an e-mail with your temporary password information.  If  you had an account with a previous school, your password is still current.  If you have forgotten your password, follow the instructions on the log-in page https://jupitergrades.com/login/index.php

 

Why can’t I see all my student’s classes and grades?

We currently have 90 of approximately 110 teachers using Jupiter Grades.  Only those teachers who have established a gradebook with Jupiter Grades and have entered your student’s name into the gradebook will be seen in a student’s account.

 

What happens if my temporary password does not work?

Occasionally a temporary password does not allow a student or parent log-on.  If you have difficulty please contact  the Title One office at (310) 257-7141.  You will be asked to provide an e-mail address that you want to use with Jupiter Grades.  You will then be contacted via e-mail with the steps to access Jupiter Grades.
